About Pellarin

Pellarin is a valuations, litigation and forensic accounting boutique led by Jeff Pellarin, CPA, CA, CBV, CIRP.

 

Formed in 2010 by Jeff Pellarin, Pellarin Inc. is an independent professional services firm specializing in damages quantification, business valuation, litigation support and forensic accounting services. Our clients include private businesses, public companies, law firms, insurance companies and their clients. We have offices in Calgary and Toronto. Our clients and our work span across Canada.

Jeff has over 20 years of experience in providing business valuation and damages quantification services. He previously led the Valuations and Litigation Support division of a large multi-national, multi-discipline accounting firm, where he managed a team of professionals. Pellarin provides expert analysis, financial investigation and reporting and, where needed, expert testimony before courts, securities commissions, or other tribunals.

Jeff P. Pellarin

CPA, CA, CBV, CIRP

Jeff Pellarin has over twenty years of experience acting as an expert witness or officer of the court providing opinion evidence. Jeff has also acted as a receiver or bankruptcy trustee, and has performed business valuation and related analyses for various other purposes. Prior to forming Pellarin, Jeff Pellarin led the Ontario and Alberta business valuation and litigation accounting practice groups of a major Canadian accounting firm.

Jeff is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator, a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in Bankruptcy (Corporate). He has provided testimony before courts, securities commissions and tribunals in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario and has acted as an officer of the court in various proceedings, reporting on forensic and valuations matters.

Nick Dubick

MBA

Nick Dubick is a senior financial analyst. Prior to joining Pellarin, Nick was a data analyst at a major market research company. He left that role to pursue his MBA, after which he worked at a large financial institution performing business research and analysis, and then at a major accounting firm as a business analyst.

Nick obtained his MBA in 2006 and is presently pursuing his Chartered Business Valuators’ designation.
